Here is my Project:
Today I want to share with you a new Card file I made.  The Merry Accordian Fold Card.

Here is the card

Here is one side of the removable tag that I stamped a sentiment

Here is the other side of the removable tag that I added a very pretty Reindeer Dazzle
This card was a lot of fun to make.  It is a simple Accordian style card with a twist.  I have added a large pocket to the front to hold a tag to not only place your sentiment but also gives you a place to sign your card.  From the fun custom letters used to spell out Merry, to the 3-D banner you can use to add whatever you want, this card can then be displayed as some beautiful Christmas Decor for yourself or the reciever of your custom card.  It can be made in a Vintage classic style as I have done with mine, or use different papers for a more fun and whimsical style.

For my card I used some very vintage looking papers with deep rich colors, I used lots of different ribbons from my stash to enhance the letters, some with a bow and some with a simple fold of ribbon sticking out from behind the letter like a tab.  I added a cute little red mitten button from my stash to jazz up th white ribbon I used on the letter Y.  I used red stickles to lightly dot the centers of the star burstas on the M and the Y and on the holly Berries.  I used white gel pen to stitch the edges of my embellishment cubes.  I also used some of my gorgeous gold Dazzles from the same kit I got theses beautiful vintage papers.  I added a tiny gold star to the Christmas tree, the word Christmas to my banner and a lovely deer dazzle to the removable tag.  I used my D'Vine swirls cuttlebug folder to emboss  the tag and then used walnut stain ink to rub on the design to make it pop.  and last but not least I added a cute Happy Holidays sentiment stamp to my tag with a cute red and green flower stamped in each corner to accent.  I am not sure if some lucky special someone will be recieving this card from me in December this year or if it will become a nice decor piece for my own Mantle.

Mittens, Snowflakes and Caps

Hello, welcome to my little corner of the web. On Wednesday my internet was down all morning so I decided to get some cleaning done so I could then get caught up on some Christmas in July projects. We have been doing those all month over at Creative Kuts, so it got me in the mood to get a better jump start on my Christmas Cards.   As I said before, I planned on making some after I got some cleaning done, lol.

So my internet was out and I was cleaning up my long over due craft room and I came across this adorable card making kit buried on my desk since December. I never put it away because I thought it was such a cute darn kit and I ended up too busy to use it.  At this point cleaning stopped and the creating began J

Today I want to share with you some of those cards I made with that kit and even one from Creative Kuts2 also that I made with the adorable papers from that same kit. The kit is from Carmaker Kit of the month club. I started this subscription when I was just learning to make cards and kept it going because I just love the items I receive in the kits.   If you are new to card making and want some easy step by step cards with all of the supplies check them out  http://www.cardmakerkitclub.com/.  I usually just make whatever I want with the kits I receive now, but on occasion I still learn a new technique from them too.

This kit I have been working with for these adorable cards is called Snow Day! The fabulous colors of purple, pink and light blue, mixed with fun snowflake & mittens art is just gorgeous! Then to top that off you get precut shaped cards, 5 Mittens and 5 snowflake cards with envelopes. Plus all of the other goodies you get that correspond together like a whole sheet of adorable Rub Ons, oh I love them. A full sheet of die cuts, brads, mini snowflake sequins, Beads, rubber stamps, velvet & satin ribbon , glitter & more. Anyway most of the kits come packed full of fun items to use, that is why I continue as a customer after all of this time. So on to the cards now so you can see how super cute they are.

Here are all three adorable cards

This Card is from Creative Kuts2
This adorable Cap Pocket Card cutting file is only $3 at Creative Kuts2.  I will add a link here as soon as it is added to the store.
This adorable snowflake card is part of the cardmaker kit

This Mitten card is also a part of the cardmaker kit
I will be adding more of these cute cards made from this Kit on Monday and Tuesday to finish off this fun Christmas in July Month.

This weekend starting tomorrow morning please join us for our "Christmas in July" Blog Hop to view lots of fun Christmas card projects for great inspiration and there will also be Blog Candy to win!!!

Scrapped recipe card, pasta salad

Here is my latest 8x8 recipe card to go in my new kitchen stand in the previous post.

Let me add the front view of the stand also

I have used it already on this 4th of July to cook up some favorites for the Family.  I love it!!!  It is so handy and useful when needed and just so very pretty to leave displayed in my kitchen.  I will be adding more recipe cards to it as time goes on :)  Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Eva's Kitchen Recipe Stand

I have not been crafting at all for the last couple of weeks due to busy life in general, lol and migraine headaches, Ugh.  This is not a CK2 project but something I have been wanting to make for my Kitchen for a long time now.

I bought the beautiful stand at Michaels and it holds 8X8 size pages.  I made a front cover using a beautiful cardstock from a Recollections Stack I have called Modern Bouquet.  It is a 12X12 sheet that I cut down to 8X8.

The letters I cut from Scal 2 using the font Berlin Sans FD in Normal for the top layer, which I inked edges in brown.  The bottom layer I used the Shadow Rounded feature and upped it to 4.0 and welded the word Kitchen together.  I plced the negative of the cut where I wanted to place it on my project to use as a guide where I wanted to glue down my word pieces.  The metal flower came in a pack of wire embellishments I recieved from my Step Daughter.  I really love the way it all came out!
The inside recipe pages I did are a combo of Smilebox and Craft Artist programs, printed out at 8X8, trimmed the white edges off and perfect fit into this beautiful stand.

I have one more card to add tomorrow, I have it ready minus the picture.  Since I am making this dish for our 4th of July Celebration I will be taking a picture and adding it in too.  I will be adding plenty more recipe cards throughout the years of my favorites so the recipe will always be handy to use in my kitchen.

Thanks so much for stopping by to look at my latest project.  I would love to read your comments on what you think :) so please leave me one.
